You can see the tops of the hotels on the Las Vegas strip. This is the truck that was escorting the elite men runners in the Las Vegas "Rock N Roll" marathon.

They areheading west, going away from the Las Vegas strip, on Twain between Arville andDecatur. 

Look at the beautiful mountains that surround Las Vegas in all directions. The area has 2.2 million residents and housing developments that go right up to the foot of the mountains.  

This is a video of Las Vegas marathon runners heading west on Twain between Arville and Decatur. It was still cold outside.

You can tell bylooking at the police officer that it was still plenty cool at 7 am.
